A COUNCIL hopes to partly reopen a storm damaged leisure centre today.

Powerful gusts tore off a section of the roof of Holyhead Leisure Centre earlier this week, forcing the temporary closure of the popular hub near Kingsland Road. A road leading up to it was cordoned off.
