Singer was left barely able to walk ... but showed true courage

A TALENTED singer and keen runner was left barely able to walk after an operation to cure a problem that had plagued her for two years.

Elan Catrin Parry, 23, from Wrexham, had been suffering for many months due to an injury to the labrum in her hip.

So in February 2023 she underwent surgery for what she thought would be a repair to the labrum, a ring of cartilage that surrounds a ball-and-socket joint.

But the damage was so severe that the labrum had to be removed entirely. During the operation, her hip flexor was also overstretched.

This left her unable to lift her left foot, even to walk.
