LIFEBOAT CALLED OUT IN ‘BLISTERING HEAT’ AND AGAIN IN STORM
Lifeboat crews assisted a high number of people in difficulty in the sea off the North Wales coast
A SAILOR suffered a head injury while on board a vessel off the Anglesey coast on Wednesday.
Lifeboat volunteers were alerted “during the blistering heat” on Wednesday afternoon to reports of the injury.
A Holyhead RNLI spokesperson said the alarm was raised just before 3pm, with a request for both lifeboats to be launched.
The spokesperson said: “A lone sailor had reported he had sustained a head injury on board his vessel, and needed assistance.
