Princess reflects fondly on life in North Wales

KATE Middleton has shared insights into the cherished moments from her time in North Wales and her children’s early years.

While reflecting on her time in Anglesey, the Princess of Wales fondly recalled frequent visits to Menai Bridge Waitrose.

The Times reported that Kate reminisced about how she would “hang out a lot at soft play” before she added: “Mine absolutely love it.”

Kate and William spent three years living on Anglesey between 2010 and 2013 when the Prince of Wales was doing his helicopter training at RAF Valley to become a search and rescue pilot.

It was while living there that the couple announced their plans to wed, setting up their first marital home in Wales.

It was also the first home of their eldest son, Prince George, who was born on July 22, 2013.

Locals at the time felt the pair saw it as a “refuge”.
