Nightmare as dog plunges off coast cliffs

A WALKER was left fearing the worst when her dog chased a ball and plunged over sea cliffs on Anglesey.

Ember, a six-year-old Sprocker, had jumped over a stone wall when following the bouncing ball.

The pair had been on a section of coastal path near Moelfre that they'd walked a 'million times'. A freak bounce saw the ball disappear over the edge, followed moments later by Ember.

Stacey Chadfield, from Benllech just down the coast, said the walk quickly turned into the 'scariest, most embarrassing' afternoon of her life. Writing online, she said: "A couple saw her jump in and told me, I didn't see or hear her and I totally feared the worst.
