Moyes: Terrible player decisions left us exposed

DAVID MOYES believes “terrible decisions” from some of his players were pivotal in the Ipswich Town equaliser that spoiled the party at Goodison Park.

George Hirst headed in at the back post to bring the away side level after Everton appeared to be cruising following two early goals.

Moyes still saw positives in the passages of play that followed - until Hirst’s late leveller.

Goals from Beto and Dwight McNeil looked set to create an afternoon in which Everton could savour the penultimate match at the Grand Old Lady.

But Ipswich were spurred on after Enciso found the top corner from 30 yards and stayed in the game long enough to capitalise.

Moyes appeared disappointed rather than angry but highlighted concerns over the second goal in his post-match post-mortem.
