London burglar admits £30k theft

A 48-year-old man has pleaded guilty to burglary after thousands of pounds worth of tools were stolen from an electrical shop in Aberystwyth.

Dyfed-Powys Police received a call reporting a burglary had taken place at CEF Electrical between 3pm on Sunday, September 29 and 7.15am on Monday, September 30, 2024.
The shop owner said when he arrived to open the shop on the Monday morning, he noticed the front door was smashed, and the wires linked to the alarm.
Inside the building, he noticed several items - mainly high-power electrical tools - had been taken. He calculated the total value of the stolen items was about £30,000.
