Legal challenge over police stop of lawyer representing Hamas

A LAWYER who is part of Hamas's bid to lift its ban as a terror group in the UK will have a High Court challenge heard next year after he was detained by North Wales Police.
In August, solicitor Fahad Ansari was stopped at Holyhead Port by officers from North Wales Police as he was returning from a family holiday in Ireland.
Mr Ansari was then questioned and his work mobile phone was seized and copied.
He is now bringing legal action against the force and the Home Office, claiming the stop was unlawful.
