At least one property has been wrecked and others might be too.

It is considered too dangerous to check inside.

The mud slides occurred below Lon Penrallt near the breakwater at Nefyn on the Llyn Peninsula.

The first was reported on Monday, followed by another on Wednesday lunchtime.

A third landslide - the most destructive - happened some time after this, possibly overnight.

It's understood the properties affected were not occupied at the time as they're not used year round.

Nearby public footpaths have been closed amid fears of another landslide.

Cyngor Gwynedd councillor Gruffydd Williams, who represents the Nefyn ward, has been working with affected residents to coordinate next steps.
