Judge tells women who helped gang to 'pick men better'

TWO women who helped an organised crime group (OCG) have been spared jail.

A judge yesterday told the defendants to “be more careful in your choice of men in future!”
A number of other defendants have been prosecuted for their part in the conspiracy which lasted from December 2022 to November 2023.
Mold Crown Court yesterday heard Katie Williams, 35, and Claire Clegg, 42, had been at the bottom of the gang.
They pleaded guilty to assisting an organised crime group, and a third defendant Jessica Lett, 37, admitted supplying cocaine and cannabis to another person.
