Funeral details confirmed for bypass tragedy victim

THE funeral details for a "gentle, calm and kind" dad-to-be, who died in a crash, have been confirmed.

Mathew Hardy, 34, from Pwllheli, was one of two men pronounced dead at the scene of a collision, on the A487 Porthmadog bypass, on the evening of Saturday December 20.

Daniel Atkinson, 40, of Blaenau Ffestiniog, also died in the crash. The collision, which happened shortly before 9.30pm, involved an Isuzu recovery truck, of which Mr Hardy was the driver, and a VW Golf.

Mr Hardy's devastated family have now given details when the service will be performed, with a warm invite for people to attend, so loved-ones and friends can say a fond farewell to him.
