eBay stampede for I'm A Celebrity Castle props

TWO props with a smattering of TV stardust went under the hammer at Conwy's I'm A Celebrity venue.
Gwrych Castle, near Abergele, put up for sale two of its most prized possessions to raise funds for ongoing restoration. They include a red telephone box originally used for ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! series in 2020 and 2021 when the show was hosted in the UK.
It was listed on eBay and, with the bidding deadline nearing, the price stood at £1,520.40 after 41 bids. Gwrych Castle was warning potential owners the item is collection only, as it's" extremely heavy". It did indeed sell.
Castle trustees added: "A rare opportunity to own a genuine piece of television and castle history - perfect for collectors, fans of British culture, or anyone looking for a standout statement piece."
