Butcher issues update on closed town-centre store

A WELL-known butcher has given an update on one of his North Wales stores.

Daniel Morris Butchers in Ruthin
Daniel Morris, the son of a beef farmer from Prion, Denbighshire, bucked a trend in recent years by building up a small shop empire.
He initially took on the J Williams butchers' shop in Denbigh in his 30s after working at the shop from age of 15.
This was just before the Covid pandemic hit, but he rode the crisis, opening a second shop in 2021 in Mold.
It was followed by a third store the following year in Llangollen - plugging a “hole in the heart” of the Denbighshire town.
But this was closed in the spring of 2024. However, a short time later they announced a new store in Ruthin.
