Air ambulances lift three to major trauma centres with serious injuries
POLICE are renewing their appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision in Bodfari, Denbighshire, on Wednesday night.
Seven people, including two children, were taken to hospital following the incident.
Three of the seven were airlifted to major trauma centres by air ambulances, with the other four taken to hospital.
Two people have also been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injuries by dangerous driving, as police appeal for witnesses.
Officers for North Wales Police were called at 7.40pm following a report of a collision involving three vehicles - a silver Mercedes A200, an Audi Q3 and a silver BMW 118.
They were joined at the scene on the A541 by Wales Air Ambulance, the National Police Air Service helicopter and the forensic collision investigation unit.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service also had two engines and two officers at the scene.
Fire crews extinguished one of the vehicles, which was on fire, and assisted with casualty care.
