|October 03, 2025
KWAZULU-NATAL Premier Thamsanga Ntuli recently spoke about key societal issues that were plaguing South Africa, and he emphasised the urgent need to tackle crime and corruption.
Ntuli's public address happened in the Umdoni Local Municipality during the commemoration of the International Day of Older Persons.
He highlighted the need for collaborative action to foster a safer and more transparent province.
“We must work together to fix our province. To fix those challenges that were faced with as a country,’ Ntuli said.
Using the Government of Provincial Unity (GPU) as an example, Ntuli said that although the province had a GPU, the government was not only formed by the GPU, but also the opposition parties that are a part of the government.
