WINTLE GETS BLUEBIRDS OFF TO FLYER
Daily Mirror UK
|September 01, 2025
CARDIFF continued their unbeaten start under boss Brian Barry-Murphy by thumping Plymouth 4-0.
-
The Bluebirds took control of what had been a fairly uneventful contest at the Cardiff City Stadium with a quickfire double from Ryan Wintle (top) and Chris Willock just before the break.
Rubin Colwill added a third goal five minutes after the restart and substitute Isaak Davies slammed home a fourth in added-time.
"It was a really good day for us and I'm very happy to get a win against a team who we knew would be dangerous opponents," said Barry-Murphy.
