VINI RACISM ROW SPOILS REAL'S WIN

VINICIUS JR was at the centre of an alleged racist comment after his sensational goal saw Real Madrid beat Benfica 1-0 in Lisbon last night.

In the rematch of their dramatic Champions League league phase tie which saw Benfica deny Real a place in the top eight with their last-minute goal, Vinicius celebrated by the corner flag near the Benfica fans after breaking the deadlock in the 50th minute.
Objects were thrown on to the pitch and Vinicius (top) was then left furious and complaining to referee Francois Letexier who made the crossed arms gesture to signal racist abuse.
