Officer quit force...& husband
A FEMALE undercover police officer got so close to an animal rights activist in a group she was spying on that she married him.
Agent 26, who used the fake identity Christine Green, left her husband and quit the police and became known as “the Met's Mata Hari”.
The woman told her lover the truth and they lived in Cornwall and Scotland before settling in Sweden, according to the Mail on Sunday.
The true identity of the officer, one of only a few women in Special Branch’s Special Demonstration Squad, cannot be revealed for legal reasons.
