UK to recognise state of Palestine 'within 48hrs'

KEIR Starmer is expected to formally recognise Palestine over the weekend as Israel's onslaught on Gaza continues.
The PM is poised to make a decision within 48 hours ahead of a United Nations summit on Monday.
French President Emmanuel Macron is also likely to press ahead with the move, which will infuriate Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
