Parents’ pride in Netflix show role

LIAM Payne's heartbroken parents were so proud of their son being a mentor on a new music reality show they agreed to let Netflix air the series after his death.

Doubts were raised over whether Building the Band would ever go out on the streaming platform, following the singer's tragic death last year.

But Liam’s friend and fellow show mentor Nicole Scherzinger said his dad Geoff and mum Karen felt “this is how we want everyone to remember Liam”.
