LIVERPOOL don't just head into a new season on Saturday they also head into the unknown.

New boss Arne Slot has worked tirelessly this summer in trying to ensure the least amount of disruption in the transition from Jurgen Klopp's hugely successful reign.

Yet change has come to Anfield with the sporting structure revamped and a total refresh of the coaching staff.

Slot's style of play is different to Klopp's but there are similarities.

Yes, there will be more focus on possession and building up from the back in a more patient manner, but old habits will die hard too.
