A BEREAVED family has hit out at the justice system after a boy who beat a grandad to death was locked up for just seven years.
A laughing girl of 12 who filmed the attack was not even put behind bars.
The devastated daughter of 80-year-old Bhim Kohli wept: "I feel angry. They can rebuild their lives - we can't."
Mr Kohli was walking his dog in a park just 30 seconds from home when he was punched, kicked and battered with a slider shoe by the balaclava-clad boy of 14.
He suffered a broken neck and ribs and a spinal cord injury and was found screaming in agony by his son Virinder at Franklin park in Braunstone, Leicester. He died in hospital the next day.
The boy and girl, who encouraged the attack, had racially abused Mr Kohli then filmed it.
