Take pride in the change we've made

WELL SAID A hug from Keir Starmer RIGHT ON POINT Pair look confident

In an upbeat speech after a bruising few weeks, the Chancellor said Labour members should take pride in the party's achievements after 15 months in Downing Street. She pointed to primary school breakfast clubs, more free school meals, a massive NHS cash injection and a pay boost for millions in the public sector.

Ms Reeves told conference delegates in Liverpool: "No one said it was going to be easy. But take pride in what we are achieving together.

"Remember that in every single one of the 451 days we have been in office we have achieved more than in the more than 5,000 days we spent powerless in opposition."

After a standing ovation, she added: "Whatever tests confront us, have faith, because our party and our country have overcome greater challenges than these."
