Giovanni back with dancing friends after losing spot on show over bullying scandal

GIOVANNI Pernice has been reunited with his former Strictly pals - a year after stepping down from the show in a bullying scandal.

The dancer is on the bill of an event called Dancing With the Stars, with former colleagues Anton Du Beke, Aljaz Skorjanec, Janette Manrara, Gorka Marquez, Kai Widdrington, Lauren Oakley and Karen Hauer.

There are usually strict BBC rules around stars affiliated to the show taking part in external work.

But the current Strictly dancers are thought to have had the green light to perform in the event, at the Celtic Manor Resort Hotel & Spa, Newport, South Wales and De Vere Beaumont Estate, Old Windsor, Berks, in July.
