Ex-Lioness Karen Carney says dance show is right move after trolls hell
KAREN Carney says Strictly is rebuilding her confidence after online trolls crushed it by attacking her football punditry career.
The 38-year-old former Lioness got off to a sensational start on the series, topping the leaderboard with a jive in week one and following it up with a 20-point tango on Saturday night.
She has commentated alongside big names such as Laura Woods, Jill Scott and Ian Wright but said of being trolled: "I had it quite bad about four years ago, that was very, very challenging.
