Jarrad goal sets Everton on way to first home derby win for   14 years and shatters Reds title hopes.

SO WORTH THE WAITE!

JURGEN KLOPP said he I will not miss the Merseyside derby when he walks away from Liverpool this summer.

This one will certainly be one to forget for the departing Reds manager because just his second defeat in 19 meetings with Everton could be the one which costs him a fairytale farewell.

Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored to fire the Toffees one win from safety, with the added bonus of putting a serious dent in their Mersey rivals' title hopes.

The Liverpool boss was serenaded with 'You lost the league at Goodison Park' in the dying moments.

Klopp's side now realistically need two slip-ups from Arsenal and Manchester City to win a 20th league crown but games are running out.

And given the poverty of this performance, who is to say they will go unbeaten themselves. Everton outfought and outworked them almost everywhere on the pitch.

They targeted them at set-

pieces and they got their reward with a deserved win.
