A CHARITY boss has put pressure on Keir Starmer to axe the two-child benefit limit at next month's Budget as millions return to the classroom.

Lynn Perry, the chief executive of Barnardo's, warns today in an open letter that the excitement of the new school year is being overshadowed by fear for many families.

For many low-income families budgets will be stretched to breaking point as they scramble to find cash for uniform, travel and supplies.
