Sturgeon considers escape from scrutiny

NICOLA Sturgeon has said she might escape the “goldfish bowl scrutiny” in Scotland for London.

The ex-First Minister said she loved the capital and a period away could reset her perspective, as she promoted her memoir, Frankly, which is out tomorrow.

She said media attention in Scotland was akin to suffocating, saying sometimes she feels if she breathes the wrong way, it will be a news story.

Speaking to BBC's Newscast podcast, Ms. Sturgeon, 55, said: "I belong in Scotland. It's my home.
