Ell ready to fire at Sandown

GIVE 'em Ell at Sandown.
ELLARIA SAND (1.50) failed to fire earlier in the season but there were reasons for those below-par efforts.
She didn't seem to appreciate the 1m distance when well beaten in the German 1,000 Guineas at Dusseldorf when last seen in May.
A slow start didn't help her chances when down the field in the Fred Darling Fillies' Classic Trial at Newbury on her previous start.
Her trainer Ollie Sangster (right) has, presumably, kept her away from the quick summer ground and she should find onditions much more to her liking today after some welcome rain hit the track on Thursday.
