England rugby stars ready for record World Cup final

- BY JEREMY ARMSTRONG

MILLIONS of England rugby union fans are hoping that the all-conquering Red Roses team become world champions today.

A record 82,000 crowd will be cheering them on at Twickenham and a huge TV audience is also expected to tune into BBC One for the 4pm kickoff.

The sellout will be the biggest crowd ever for a women’s rugby game, beating the 58,498 who watched the Roses Six Nations match against France in 2023.
