Rock legend prepares for swansong with Sabbath pals
Daily Mirror UK
|May 16, 2025
OZZY Osbourne says being the lead singer of Black Sabbath was like being involved in a marriage with three other men.
The rock legend routinely performed with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward from 1968 to 1979, and they have reformed for the occasional gig since 1997.
Reflecting on the old days of touring with the band - and the fallouts it cause - Ozzy said: "You abso-f***ing-lutely get married in a band.
"You are arguing, you get p***ed off... like marriage."
Ozzy, who has been married to music mogul Sharon, 72, for 42 years, says his multi-millionaire lifestyle is in sharp contrast to the early days.
