Monster was one of 131 offenders who dodged vetting by Met force

RAPIST cop David Carrick was among 131 rogue officers who slipped through the net when the Met failed to do proper background checks.

Carrick, who used his position as an officer to gain women's trust, was cleared to carry on working after his botched vetting renewal in 2017. He went on to attack at least four more women before he was arrested in 2021.
