Littler: I will be tops for years

LUKE LITTLER will pick up his darts again this week and look to add to his extraordinary record - just a week before he turns 19.

The double world champion returns to action at the Bahrain Masters, the start of another year which will end with him seeking his third successive glory at Ally Pally.

Twelve months ago, Littler was knocked out in the quarterfinals in Bahrain, losing 6-2 to Gerwyn Price, who then progressed to the final, where Stephen Bunting beat him 8-4 to lift the crown.

But it was the year before in Bahrain that was such a landmark moment for ‘Luke the Nuke’.
