Pillowcase DNA 'proves alleged stalker cannot be Madeleine'

Forensic expert tells jury two profiles are different

A DNA sample from Madeleine McCann's pillowcase proved an alleged stalker was not the missing youngster, a court heard.

The profile was taken from Madeleine’s bedroom just days after she vanished days before her fourth birthday while on holiday in Portugal in 2007.

Forensic experts compared it to the DNA of Polish national Julia Wandelt, who claimed to be Madeleine.

Jurors were told yesterday it proved the 24-year-old is not the youngster or the “biological child” of the McCanns.
