Ricky's final interview days before death is released

RICKY Hatton hit the heights of boxing fame, but his feet were firmly on the ground and his heart always remained with the working class community he came from.

And the tragic boxing legend told in his final interview this month how he would rather be remembered as a man of the people than the best-ever fighter of his generation.

Ricky was found dead aged 46 at his home not far from the Manchester council estate where he grew up. His funeral will take place in the city next Friday. He filmed the interview with First Round Boxing days before he died and it has been released in full.
