Heartbreak of Lily Phillips' parents

- BY JASMINE ALLDAY

WHEN Lily Phillips started her OnlyFans career, her parents laboured under the belief that their daughter was making money posing in lingerie for subscribers who paid £10 a month to watch.

But after her notoriety exploded when she slept with 100 men in a day for a "stunt" last year, it would have been hard to escape the truth about Lily's porn career.

And in the documentary Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, Lily, 24, breaks down as she real-ises how her choices affect those who love her.

She gets emotional as she speaks to her parents on her regular Sunday catch-up, joined on the video call by documentary maker and journalist Stacey.

Lily's father tells Stacey: "We've known for years she’s done OnlyFans and I thought it was just posing in swimwear and lingerie."

Her mum adds: "When she said she was doing Only Fans, we stood back as we want to continue our relationship with our daughter. We were pretty open with it, but when it went to the next step, we were like, 'no, no."

Heartbreakingly, Lily's dad says: "If there's anything we could do to change her profession, we'd do it overnight. It's the degradingness of it and making sure that she's safe.

"Sometimes we think, 'have we done anything wrong with her upbringing?' Well, as far as I'm concerned, we've had nothing but nice times and love." He asks Lily: "Is it money? Because if it was money, we'd sell our house. You could have everything you want, Lily, if you gave it all up now."

When asked how she feels, Lily says she understands and respects how her parents feel and "that's that".
