A RETIRED teacher found the root to weight loss and healthy living eating fresh veg from her garden.

Anne Day, 82, dropped from almost 17st to just over 6st thanks to a balanced diet.

That was in 2011 and she has now been named Slimming World's Diamond Member of the Year for maintaining her target weight for 14 years.
