BODO/GLIMT v TOTTENHAM

- BY ALASDAIR GOLD

TOTTENHAM will have to go without Dominic Solanke for a little bit longer.

England man Solanke is set to undergo surgery on his ankle in a bid to solve the problem that has dogged the striker since the summer.

The 28-year-old is yet to start a competitive match this season after suffering the injury while miskicking a ball in training.

However, he appeared to be on the way back after returning to sessions with his Spurs teammates this month.

That came following an injection into the forward’s ankle in the international break that initially appeared to settle the problem down.

Solanke (top) continued to feel discomfort in his foot, though, and had to stop training.
