Gang sent 12 to Channel deaths
SMUGGLERS are believed to have removed parts of a dinghy to make it go faster in the sea, leading to the deaths of 12 people.
It is thought the removal of rigid supports caused the bottom of the seven-metre inflatable to fall apart.
