MIKEL ARTETA praised Gabriel Martinelli's "big personality" after his three FA Cup goals put Arsenal into the fourth round.
At Fratton Park Martinelli scored his first hat-trick for Arsenal with his first goals in the competition - just three days after being in the eye of the storm surrounding Liverpool's Conor Bradley.
Gunners winger Martinelli publicly apologised after trying to pull Bradley off the pitch during Arsenal's goalless draw at the Emirates. He insisted he did not realise the Liverpool defender was badly hurt.
