She has worked in live sports broadcasting for nearly 30 years and is riding high, having bagged a permanent presenting role on Match of the Day.

And now Gabby Logan is gearing up for her 13th stint as host of Sports Personality of the Year, celebrating the sporting triumphs and heroes of 2025.

Gabby, married to former rugby player Kenny Logan, will host alongside Clare Balding, who is fresh from Celebrity Traitors, and Alex Scott, who is currently in I'm a Celebrity.

And while Gabby reveals she loved watching Clare in the Scottish castle, she's ruling herself out of taking part in the show for now, at least.

"I don't think so," she says. "Not because it doesn't appeal, I just know the time of year they film it would mean an enormous amount of time for me away from sport.
