Lawyer's plea as Brueckner due out of jail within days

CHRISTIAN Brueckner's lawyer says he does not believe his client will be charged over the Madeleine McCann case and must be allowed to live a “normal life” after prison.
Brueckner is to be released from a German jail by next Wednesday after a seven-year term for raping and beating a US pensioner in Portugal in 2005.
He is the prime suspect in the disappearance of then three-year-old Madeleine in the Algarve in May 2007.
In a blow to her parents Kate and Gerry, Brueckner's lawyer Friedrich Fuelscher said: "I do not expect any indictment in the Maddie case. I do not expect an indictment at all.
