Deadly Lachlan seals Leopards' play-off spot
RED-HOT Lachian Lam inspired his Leigh side to a huge win over Castleford - confirming their place in the Super League playoffs with three rounds left.
The superstar halfback played a major role in the triumph, including three assists to take his total tally to 38 for the season, alongside his own score against a Castleford outfit desperate to end the season and welcome incoming coach Ryan Carr from Australia
The Leopards dominated the clash from kickoff, with Castleford proving no match for a side still in the race for second-spot against Wigan, St Helens and Leeds. A third or fourth-place finish would also cement a first-ever home playoff for Leigh.
