Baby tenth to die in biggest outbreak for 40yrs
MEDICAL chiefs yesterday called on pregnant women to get vaccinated against whooping cough after a tenth baby died.
The UK Health Security Agency confirmed the tragic news in what is thought to be the biggest outbreak of the lung infection in 40 years.
The surge in whooping cough cases has been linked to waning immunity and a drop-off in vaccination rates.
