“I was talking to Andy about it and we were having lunch in this big hall [at Gloucester Prison] and he said, 'That scene was here - this is the exact same room that I visited my brother in this prison, 30 years ago.'”

“It was mad that none of us had known that the scene we filmed had taken place within about 20 feet of the actual table where he had sat. It was an interesting reminder that while it is a drama, it's also real. And in the book Andy describes the fear he felt as a child going there, and it's powerful, and very, very hard being the child of a prisoner.”
