How O'Reilly and Gonzalez became key for Guardiola
AS Nico Gonzalez and Nico O'Reilly walked off the pitch at the Etihad on Wednesday, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola gave a big high five to both players.
The pair have become integral to City's revival in recent weeks, which now stands at six straight wins in all competitions.
Guardiola's men have the chance to go top of the Premier League for a few hours at least this weekend, and a Carabao Cup semifinal against Newcastle to look forward to following their 2-0 victory over Brentford.
Not many people would have tipped the two Nicos to be key men for City at the start of the campaign.
