Arteta not giving up the fight, but says his team deserve credit for overcoming so many obstacles
MIKEL ARTETA insists this season has been one of his proudest despite Arsenal falling short in the title race.
The Gunners boss even claimed his side should really be mid-table given all the obstacles they have had to face.
Arsenal were expected to be the team to take advantage of any Manchester City slip-up but their fans have had to watch Liverpool make the title race a procession.
Arteta pointed to a crippling injury list and five red cards as reasons why this season has not gone to plan.
But he is refusing to give up on the title and says his players deserve so much credit.
