First transgender MP admits blitz of texts and calls

BRITAIN'S first transgender MP has admitted harassing her former wife after bombarding her with texts and phone calls.

Ex-Conservative MP Jamie Wallis, now known as Katie, previously denied hounding Rebecca Lovell between February and March.

But Wallis, 40, who uses female pronouns, pleaded guilty yesterday to prevent her ex being forced to give evidence behind a screen.

Wallis was accused of unwanted phone calls, texts and voice notes, and driving past her home.
