IT’S amazing that our PM, especially being an ex-lawyer, couldn't spot the signs. My mum and mum-in-law would have sussed Peter Mandelson in 30 seconds. Mandelson must be kicked out of the Lords now, and the whole idiotic, scandalous system needs kicking into touch.
We can't have ancestors of those who fought with Henry V at Agincourt in 1415, and were given half of Yorkshire as a reward, still in the Lords in a modern, democratic UK. It's not who you are that’s important, it's what you do.

At the very least, Peter Mandelson has shown himself to be a terrible judge of character by defending Jeffrey Epstein after he was arrested for a child sex offence.
However, this is not the first time that Mandelson has had question marks over his behaviour.
