Footie fan builds stand in garden to watch matches

A FOOTBALL fan spent £5,000 on building a six-seater stand in his back garden so he can watch his local team with his grandsons.
Ian Nutter, 65, came up with the idea after finding three of the eight boys leaning over his wooden fence to watch Barnoldswick Town.
The architectural metalwork firm boss, who has done work for Everton and Manchester United, spent six weeks erecting the 8ft-long stand.
